Post Office branches 

Branches are open normal hours throughout but closed on 25th & 26th and 1st January.

Delays

Please claim your voucher by midday on Friday the 22nd of December to receive it within 48 hours (excluding weekends). 

Vouchers claimed after midday on Friday 22nd and midday on Friday 29th of December may take 5-working days to be delivered (excluding weekends and bank holidays) due to post office opening hours. 

What can Prepaid legacy meter vouchers be used for?                                                                        

The Post Office prepaid legacy meters can only be used to top up key/card meters. Energy voucher suppliers available can be found on the Post Office website here - Alternatively, this is listed below.

What additional costs are there for Post Office vouchers?

There are no set-up costs to start issuing Post Office vouchers. There is a Β£1.65 issue fee per voucher sent and a Β£2 cancellation fee (+VAT) per voucher cancelled.

Is there a minimum or maximum purchase value? 

There is no minimum value you can purchase. The maximum value you can purchase is Β£500. 

How are vouchers sent to recipients?

Vouchers are able to be sent by email or text message and can also be accessed through the Evouchers mobile app.

How do recipients redeem their voucher?

  1. Claim their Post Office voucher through the Evouchers app or browser account.
  2. Take their voucher and their meter card/key to any Post Office or Payzone store. 
  3. The store clerk will scan the barcode and top up their card.

Please note: 
Once the recipient makes their voucher selection, their voucher can take up to 72 hours to process. This processing period counts working days only, and so does not include weekends or bank holidays.

Post Office vouchers are single scan redemption vouchers. Any support required following the scanning of a Post Office voucher will need to come from Post Office directly.

Once received, Post Office vouchers are valid for use for 6 months.
